Verdansk was the first map to debut alongside Call of Duty: Warzone back in 2020 but was eventually replaced by Caldera in December 2021 with Season 1 of Call of Duty: Vanguard. Now, with Season 3 of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 on the horizon, fans are gearing up to go home.
There have been various leaks and rumors in recent months surrounding which version of Verdansk would be returning, but now Activision has solidified precisely which points of interest will be making their comeback next month. Fans will be pleased to know that all of the map's most iconic drop points, including Superstore, Downtown, Stadium, and many more, will be back in their original form come April 3
The good news is that a reliable leaker has indicated that the map will continue to evolve after Warzone Season 3. According to TheGhostOfHope, Activision is reportedly planning to update Verdansk "throughout Black Ops 6 seasons and beyond" as the studio is eager to keep players engaged with the title.
Very few details about Call of Duty Season 3 are known as of writing, but Activision did seemingly confirm the return of a few iconic Modern Warfare weapons in a new video.
There have long been rumors of weapons such as the Grau 5.56, Kilo, and AMAX making a return alongside Verdansk, and while Activision hasn't outright announced their return, some of the weapons were spotted in a recent Warzone video.
