After three months with the iQOO 13, here's a comprehensive review based on my experiences.

Design & Build Quality

The Legend edition features a sleek white finish adorned with the iconic BMW M Motorsport tri-color stripe, reflecting iQOO's collaboration with the brand. This design not only enhances the phone's aesthetic appeal but also provides a smooth, premium feel. The device maintains a slim profile at 8.1mm thickness, though the camera module does protrude slightly. Notably, the iQOO 13 now boasts IP68/IP69 ingress protection, offering enhanced resistance against dust and water.

The iQOO 13 boasts a premium glass-metal design with a well-balanced weight distribution. The Monster Halo light around the camera module adds a unique touch, enhancing the gaming aesthetics.

Display

The 6.82-inch AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate delivers a fluid and immersive viewing experience. HDR10+ support enhances colors and contrast in supported content. However, in some cases, the HDR performance appears inconsistent, with certain colors looking washed out. Outdoor visibility remains excellent, even under bright sunlight.

Performance & Gaming

Powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, the iQOO 13 delivers blazing-fast performance. Apps open quickly, and multitasking is seamless. In gaming, BGMI, COD Mobile at consistently high frame rates, with minimal overheating due to the efficient cooling system. The dual X-axis linear motor enhances haptics, making gameplay more immersive.

Although I'm not Pro in gaming, but what I experienced I have shared my thoughts.

Battery & Charging

The 6,000mAh battery provides excellent endurance, lasting around 1.5 days with mixed usage. Even with heavy gaming, the battery holds up well. The 120W fast charging is a game-changer, charging the phone from 20% to 100% in around 38 minutes. However, it's worth noting that wireless charging is not supported.

That what I think is missed for flagship phone like this.

Camera Performance

Most important part which know days consider as a essential part for a mobile. The triple 50MP rear camera setup captures detailed and vibrant images in well-lit conditions.

iQOO 13 having the 50MP primary sensor captures sharp and detailed photos, especially in daylight. The ultrawide and telephoto lenses are decent but lack of periscope zoom, which was present in previous models iQOO 12, limits the optical zoom capabilities. Night mode performs well, but some images tend to be over-sharpened. The video stabilization is impressive, making handheld recording smooth.

Software & UI

Running on FunTouch OS 15 (based on Android 15), the iQOO 13 offers plenty of customization options. However, the presence of pre-installed applications may detract from the overall user experience for some individuals and occasional software bugs affect optimization. The company has been pushing regular updates, but a more polished experience would be appreciated.

Speakers & Audio

The stereo speakers deliver rich and immersive sound, making gaming and media consumption enjoyable. 3D audio in supported games enhances directional awareness, especially in FPS titles.
