Meta has rolled out a new ‘Friends’ tab on Facebook, aiming to bring back the “OG” Facebook experience of connecting with friends. 🎯 This update marks the first of several experiences planned for 2025 to prioritize meaningful social interactions.

💡 What’s New in the Friends Tab?


👥 Streamlined Content:

  • The new Friends tab displays content exclusively from your Facebook friends, including:
  • ✅ Stories, Reels, and posts shared by friends.
  • ✅ Birthdays and friend requests.
  • ✅ No recommended content or unrelated suggestions.

📌 Simplified Navigation:

  • The tab is accessible from the Home feed’s navigation bar or the Bookmarks section for quick access.

🔧 Easy Pinning Option:


You can pin the Friends tab for convenient access by following these steps:

1️⃣ Tap your profile picture on the Home feed.

2️⃣ Go to “Settings & Privacy” > “Settings”.

3️⃣ Select “Tab bar”.

4️⃣ Customize and pin the Friends tab.
