Google has made its Gemini 2.5 Pro AI available for free to all users. Originally a premium feature for Gemini Advanced subscribers, this move comes as a response to competition from OpenAI's ChatGPT and Anthropic's Claude.

Can Gemini 2.5 Pro Generate Ghibli-Style Images?

Unlike GPT-4o, which can generate images natively, Gemini 2.5 Pro lacks built-in image generation. While Google has improved its AI's reasoning, math, and coding skills, it has not confirmed if the model can create images directly.

Why No Ghibli-Style Feature?

Gemini 2.5 Pro does not have inline style conversions for artistic images like Studio Ghibli-inspired paintings. Google's Imagen 3 model, which powers Gemini's image generation, may not offer the same artistic flexibility as OpenAI’s ChatGPT, which can generate such images without external tools.

For now, users looking for AI-generated Ghibli-style images may have to rely on other platforms.
