FC Barcelona and Real Madrid are set to play their first ever exhibition match in India. The El Clasico legends will be played in Mumbai, which will feature some of the most legendary names in the history of this footballing rivalry.

India Today were the first to report that former Barcelona captain Carles Puyol and prolific former Real Madrid striker Luis Figo would be playing this fixture. Apart from these two, the likes Rivaldo, Ricardo Quaresma, Patrick Kluivert, Xavi have been pulled into the roster as well.

Speaking ahead of the game, Xavi said that he was looking forward to relive football's greatest rivalry in front of the Indian fans in Mumbai.

“I’ve experienced some of the greatest rivalries in football, and now I can’t wait to relive it in front of passionate Indian fans in Mumbai. Get ready for a special night!” Xavi said ahead of the match.
