Your Relentless Quester is back again this time with a power-packed offline event that brought the digital gaming vibes into real life! Welcome to Game On with iQOO Connect at Namma Chennai and trust me, this one was an absolute banger!
Kickstarting the Fun at Anna Nagar Tower
As always, every offline team gets a cool name and for this event, it was none other than the Sweet Sixteen! A big shoutout and thanks to the 16 incredible Questers who reached the venue sharp at 10:30 AM, traveling from different parts of the city.
We started off with our signature social media task, capturing content to remember. Then, to break the ice, everyone introduced themselves, helping turn the group into a solid squad.
Destination: Combat Zone
Just a 5-minute walk from Tower Park, we reached the Combat Zone by 12 noon, ready for action!
The adrenaline was already pumping as our Questers, many of whom are passionate BGMI players, geared up for their real-world showdown in India’s first-ever Gel Blaster Arena!
Let the Battle Begin – 4v4 Gel Blaster Showdown
Our top 4 squads from the online tournament made it to this final face-off, and we paired them up for some fierce matches to discover the top 2 teams.
Stepping into the arena felt like entering the game itself neon lights, fog effects, tactical hiding spots, and of course, holding that blaster gun it was truly a dream come true for every gamer.
When the countdown began, the matches that followed were beyond words! Watching gaming strategies from BGMI being played out in real life was an unreal experience.
Hands-On with the iQOO Z10
Our Questers had the exclusive opportunity to get a hands-on experience with the stunning new iQOO Z10!
They were truly fortunate to witness this powerful beauty in action at the Game On with iQOO Connect event held in Namma Chennai.
The Gentleman’s Game
Did you know? Gel blasters are used in military training across the world. It’s a high-cardio, skill-driven sport that tests both physical endurance and mental focus exactly why I chose this format. It perfectly reflects how true eSports athletes must be both mentally and physically strong.
Victory, Sportsmanship & Vibes
After intense rounds, the final results were in. But beyond wins and losses, it was all about experience and that was our top priority.
Team 1 impressed us with their coordination and sportsmanship, earning them the first spot. Team 2 followed closely, showcasing aggressive play and a high kill ratio. Both were recognized for their outstanding gameplay.
And of course, the event wouldn’t be complete without our mandatory group photo, capturing memories to last a lifetime.
Ending with a Chicken Dinner at McDonald’s
Post-battle, we headed to McDonald's in Anna Nagar for a grand meal non-veg combo with Maharaja Mac, fries, nuggets, and a large Coke to seal the deal with a well-deserved “Chicken Dinner for each and everyone.”
A Solid 10/10 Experience!
I can proudly say no other brand in the country has pulled off something like this. Hats off to iQOO for supporting and enabling such unique, immersive experiences for the community.
