vivo has officially rolled out the Android 16 Beta Program for iQOO 13 designed primarily for developers to get a head start on optimizing their applications for the next iteration of Android. While still in its early stages, the program is an exciting opportunity for tech enthusiasts and app developers to explore new features and test their creations in a controlled environment.

The vivo Android 16 Beta Program enables developers to test their apps against the latest Android platform changes. Kicking off on April 7, 2025, the beta offers a unique chance to familiarize yourself with upcoming behavior changes and system updates.

Where It's Available

The Beta 2 version of Android 16 is currently available in regions including:

1. Thailand

2. Indonesia

3. Malaysia

4. Saudi Arabia

5. United Arab Emirates

How to Upgrade (For iQOO 13 Users)

If you're using an iQOO 13, follow these steps to install the Beta firmware:

1. Download the official Beta Program firmware for your device.

2. Connect your phone to a PC, change the USB setting to "Transfer Files".

3. Move the firmware file to the root directory of your phone.

Navigate to Settings > System update > Local update and begin the upgrade.

Wait for the automatic update to complete.

Need to Uninstall?

If you wish to roll back, vivo allows a return to Android 15. Separate rollback packages are available for each region, including India and others mentioned above.
