Could already have a name, as prominent leaker HYPEX revealed one possible title is “Galactic Battle.” Several rumors and hints point to a potential new collaboration between the massively popular battle royale and the iconic sci-fi space fantasy franchise, though Fortnite’s  developer hasn’t confirmed anything yet.

Fortnite has featured plenty of collaborations over the year , ranging from superheroes, movies, and TV shows to even other video games and anime. Epic Games’ battle royale has been able to merge with characters from all kinds of media, steadily featuring special guest skins. With the upcoming release of Chapter 6 Season 3, rumors suggest a new collaboration with Star Wars, adding to the already long list of crossovers with the space fantasy franchise, including The Rise of Skywalker and May the 4th Be With You events, The Mandalorian (Chapter 2, Season 5 Battle Pass), among others. Now, while players wait for an official announcement, a potential name for the new crossover has been leaked.

Trusted leaker HYPEX took to Twitter to inform fans that one possible name for Fortnite's rumored Star Wars season  could be “Galactic Battle.” Although nothing has been confirmed yet, HYPEX has a track record of leaking crucial information not only about Fortnite but other popular titles as well. In a previous post from March, the leaker claimed that Fortnite would collaborate with Star Wars, bringing a 35-day mini-season starting on May 2.

One positive hint for those waiting for this collab to happen is that Fortnite teased the collaboration on April 16. Although the developer didn’t explicitly say it, it revealed that Fortnite would head to Star Wars Celebration in Japan on April 19, encouraging fans to tune into the Star Wars YouTube broadcast. Nevertheless, Epic’s potential focus on delivering a mini-season may be justified, as some of the previous Fortnite collaborations with Star Wars  have been divisive among the community, and some comments on HYPEX’s post illustrate this, with players saying things like “Please no abilities or lightsabers” and “I’m a little tired of Star Wars. Can we get a DC Battlepass?”

A new Star Wars crossover may also be disappointing for Fortnite fans waiting for Arcane skins. Recently, Riot Games’ co-founder Marc Merrill said that Jinx and Vi’s skins won't be coming back to Fortnite anytime soon. HYPEX’s claims have yet to be officially confirmed, and players should tune into the broadcast on April 19 to find out if Chapter 6 Season 3 will actually be Star Wars-themed.
