Meta has just dropped a fresh feature on Instagram called Blend 🎉 — a cool way to enjoy Reels together with your friends right inside your DMs! 💬👯‍♀️

What is Blend?


Blend lets you and your buddies create a custom Reels feed 🎥 curated from content that suits each participant’s vibe 🎯. It’s updated daily 🔄 and changes as new Reels are shared in the chat.

How to Use It:


  1. Open a DM chat and tap the Blend icon ▶️ in the top-right corner.
  2. Send an invite to your friend or group 📩👥.
  3. Once accepted, tap the icon again to view your shared feed 📱.
  4. Enjoy Reels tailored to you and your crew 🔥.

Each Reel is tagged with the name of who it’s suggested for (only visible inside the Blend) 🏷️. Every chat can have its own unique Blend — cool, right? 😎



Interaction Made Fun:


React with quick emojis 😆🔥, drop a message 💬, or use the standard like ❤️, comment ✍️, and share 🔁 icons. It's a full-on vibe!

Customize What You See:


Want better suggestions? Tap the three dots ⋯ on a Reel and choose:

  • “Interested” ✅ = more like this
  • “Not Interested” ❌ = less of this

Safety First:


Instagram's sensitive content settings apply 🔐 — the strictest filter among Blend members decides what’s shown.


Heads-Up:


Blend might introduce you to Reels outside your usual scroll zone 📲 — thanks to your friends' tastes. You might love it, or discover how different you are! 🌀
