Google is making its advanced AI assistant, Gemini, free for all eligible Android users. Powered by the latest Gemini2.5 models, it can now handle text, voice, images, and video, offering smarter responses. New features include sharing your phone screen or live video with Gemini to ask questions about what's shown, like summarizing a webpage or explaining content. Previously limited to select users, these tools are now rolling out to everyone with the Gemini app over the coming weeks. However, iPhone users need a paid Gemini Advanced subscription to access these features. Google is also phasing out its older Google Assistant in favor of Gemini.
