 GodLike Leads the Table in Kolkata

The BGIS 2025 Grand Finals kicked off on April 25 at the Biswa Bangla Mela Prangan in Kolkata. Six matches were played on Day 1, where 16 top teams competed for the championship title. Among them, GodLike Esports performed the best and secured the first position with 67 points and one Chicken Dinner.


Although GodLike had a slow start, the team made a strong comeback by winning the third match. Their two key players, Jonathan and Admini, delivered outstanding performances, taking 18 and 14 kills respectively.


In second place, Reckoning Esports also showed great consistency. The team earned 64 points along with a Chicken Dinner. Their star player, Viper, led the scoreboard with 18 kills, becoming the top individual performer of Day 1.

Orangutan, led by Aaru, claimed the third position with 48 points and one Chicken Dinner. True Rippers followed at fourth with 43 points, supported by 25 eliminations.


Cincinnati Kids secured fifth place with 41 points and one Chicken Dinner after a strong finish in the last match of the day. Medal Esports ended in sixth position with 38 points, while Team Versatile, led by Saumraj, took the seventh spot with 37 points.

Here are the overall standings after Day 1:

Genesis Esports, led by Shadow, finished with 29 points and one Chicken Dinner. Team Soul, under the leadership of Manya, started strong but couldn't maintain their performance and ended with 27 points.


Day 2 of the BGIS 2025 Grand Finals will continue on April 26, with 12 more matches to be played across the next two days. The fight for the ultimate title is still open, and fans can expect more thrilling action ahead.
