With much of its content centered around celebrating the 4/20 season through two limited-time events, alongside a roster of updates across Multiplayer, Warzone, and Zombies . While unique maps are always a welcome addition, the real highlight of this update has to be the arrival of different weapons.
The Ladra Submachine Gun stands out among the new additions, delivering impressive damage in close-range encounters. However, fans of the Goblin Mk2 will be pleased to know that an additional attachment has been introduced—one that converts it into a fully-automatic rocket launcher. Here’s how to unlock the Goblin Mk2 7.62 Mini-Rocket Conversion in Black Ops 6 and Warzone.
The Goblin Mk2 7.62 Mini-Rocket Conversion is a free reward that can be unlocked via the High Art Event Pass in Black Ops 6 and Warzone. To get it, players will need to earn 180,000 XP during the runtime of the High Art Event Pass in any mode. Once players have earned the required amount of XP, it will be made available as a Fire Mod for the Goblin Mk2 7.62 Assault Rifle, usable in all modes.
As the name suggests, the Goblin Mk2 7.62 Mini-Rocket Conversion changes the Goblin Mk2's projectiles into mini-rockets that dish out explosive damage upon impact. This effectively increases the weapon's overall damage, boosts damage range, and converts the weapon into a full-auto firearm. However, while its projectiles do deal splash damage, the radius is fairly small.
The main drawback of the Goblin Mk2 7.62 Mini-Rocket Conversion is that it significantly reduces bullet velocity and blocks all muzzle, barrel, and magazine attachments, which severely hurts its long-range potential in Warzone. Its headshot damage multiplier is also reduced, meaning headshots deal the same damage as body shots, and its fire rate is lowered as well.
In Multiplayer specifically, the Goblin Mk2 7.62 Mini-Rocket Conversion can be a great option against players, averaging a three-shot kill up close. However, in Warzone, it's far less effective at killing players quickly, being outclassed by most other weapons in the game.
Where the Goblin Mk2 7.62 Mini-Rocket Conversion truly shines, however, is in its effectiveness against vehicles. The weapon’s explosive damage is capable of taking down vehicles in Warzone far more efficiently than standard bullet-based weapons. It's also effective at damaging groups of enemies in Zombies, consistently creating crawlers when fired at the feet of zombies, and dishing out high amounts of critical damage, even with the reduced headshot multiplier.
