Gigabyte is offering a new high-end desktop PC that's designed for demanding games and can also run AI applications locally. It’s equipped with a powerful Intel processor and Nvidia’s latest flagship graphics card
The Gigabyte AI TOP 100 Z890 is a new high-performance desktop PC. Specifically, it features high-end components such as an Intel Core Ultra 9 285K and Nvidia GeForce RTX 5090. The motherboard is loaded with 128GB DDR5 RAM.
Such a large amount of memory doesn't really offer any advantages in games, but the Gigabyte AI TOP 10 Z890 is also designed for users with heavy AI workloads. These types of applications can utilize the computing power of the Intel Core Ultra 9 285K and GeForce RTX 5090, which is why a dedicated NPU isn’t included here
That said, this computer comes with two storage modules, a 2TB NVMe SSD and the 320GB AI TOP 100E to be more exact. The latter is supposedly made to last and has an official durability rating of 28,000 TBW.
Gigabyte further utilizes an AiO water cooler with a 360mm radiator and 1,600W power supply with 80 Plus Platinum certification. Modern connectivity options are available, including two Thunderbolt 5 and six USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports.
Moreover, both Ethernet ports have a bandwidth of 10 Gbit/s, while WiFi 7 should also offer fast and reliable wireless connections. Gigabyte’s new desktop PC measures 23.4 x 13.2 x 23 inches and offers space for a second PCIe 5.0 card with 8 lanes and two additional SSDs.
However, the singular M.2 PCIe 5.0 slot is already occupied. An official list price has not been revealed, and the Gigabyte AI TOP 100 Z890 apparently hasn’t been listed by any US online retailers just yet.
