Hands-On Experience

The iQOO Z10 comes with a plastic body, but it still manages to deliver a surprisingly premium feel in hand. The build quality is solid and stylish, making it hard to tell it’s not made of glass at first glance.

On the right side, you’ll find the volume rockers with the power button placed just below for easy access.

The bottom houses a centrally aligned Type-C port, speaker grille, and microphone. An interesting touch is the IR blaster, which is cleverly embedded within the circular camera module. Speaking of which, the module features two lenses along with a flash, completing the sleek and modern look of the device

Design

To start off, I must say I really like the design it’s something that will surely catch the eye of Gen Z users. The centrally placed circular camera module is a bold and refreshing move from iQOO, adding a unique touch to the phone’s aesthetic.

The quad-curved AMOLED display gives it a premium feel, and despite housing a massive 7300mAh battery, the device remains impressively slim with well-balanced weight distribution. I have the Glacier Silver variant, which draws inspiration from Himalayan glaciers and trust me, it’s an absolute stunner! Eye-catching and elegant, this design truly stands out.

Battery

The most impressive highlight of the iQOO Z10 has to be its massive 7300mAh battery an absolute game-changer! It uses a cutting-edge third-generation silicon-carbon anode battery technology, making it the first in its segment in India to feature this innovation. Despite packing such a powerful battery, the phone still maintains a slim and stylish profile, which is quite rare and definitely eye-catching.

For users who rely heavily on their phones throughout the day whether for work, entertainment, or gaming the Z10 delivers unmatched endurance. It even supports reverse charging, so you can power up other devices on the go.

In my personal testing, the Z10 took around 1 hour and 30 minutes to charge from 0 to 100% and that was without using the flash  90W fast charging capability. With 90W flash charging enabled, you can expect even quicker results. It also supports bypass charging, allowing you to power the device directly during intense tasks like gaming, without stressing the battery.

Overall, the battery is hands down one of the strongest USPs of the iQOO Z10 perfect for power users who need all-day (and then some) performance.

It’s honestly tough to drain the iQOO Z10’s massive battery. During my heavy usage test which included gaming, streaming, and multitasking I was able to get around 10 hours of screen-on time. And in more moderate conditions, it easily lasts even longer. This powerhouse battery truly lives up to its name, making the Z10 a perfect choice for anyone who needs long-lasting performance throughout the day.

Display

6.67-Inch Quad-Curved AMOLED Display

Experience stunning visuals on a 6.67-inch AMOLED quad-curved display that stands out in its segment.

Built with military-grade durability, the screen offers exceptional quality and boasts a remarkable 5000 nits of local peak brightness. Videos appear ultra-vivid, and the in-display fingerprint scanner is both fast and responsive. With a smooth 120Hz refresh rate, every interaction feels seamless and immersive.Brand claims 3840 Hz PWM Dimming and also supports Netflix And amazon Prime HDR contents.

Processor

Coming to the processor, the iQOO Z10 is powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 Mobile Platform, built on a 4nm architecture.

This enables ultra-smooth multitasking and delivers an enhanced gaming experience with lightning-fast performance. The device achieves an impressive AnTuTu score of around 8.1 plus. The wild life stress test with the stability of 99.2 percentage.

It also features 12GB of extended RAM, and the variant I have is the 12GB + 256GB model.Comes with UFS 2.2.

Camera

The iQOO Z10 features a dual rear camera setup, consisting of a 50MP Sony IMX882 main sensor and a 2MP bokeh lens. On the front, it boasts a 32MP wide-angle selfie camera that also supports 4K video recording at 30fps just like the rear camera.

Whether it's capturing detailed photos, stunning portraits, or high-resolution videos, the Z10 performs impressively on both ends. AI enhancements further ensure your selfies are crisp and clear.

Durability

Nowadays, users are increasingly focused on display protection and overall durability, with IP ratings being a top concern. The iQOO Z10 addresses this with military-grade durability, certified with the MIL-STD-810H standard designed to withstand tough conditions. It features a shock-absorbing structure, dual-strengthened glass, and a drop-resistant, clean laminated protective layer.

The phone also comes with IP65 certification, offering solid protection against dust and low-pressure water jets. Additionally, Wet-Touch technology ensures smooth and responsive touch even when the screen is wet, making it reliable in various environments.

Gaming

When it comes to gaming, most gamers, including myself, usually prefer flat displays over curved ones. So, when I got the iQOO Z10, my first instinct was to test the display, expecting to feel a difference. To my surprise, I didn’t notice much of a shift between the flat and the slightly curved square design. It’s not overly flat, nor is it too curved it strikes a perfect balance between the two, making it feel natural to use.

The gaming experience is enhanced even further with features like bypass charging, which keeps the phone powered during intense gaming sessions, and game enhancement, which boosts the colors for a more immersive experience. Plus, it has mistouch prevention, which eliminates the common issues faced with curved displays. So, for gamers, the square curved display on the Z10 is a solid choice no need to worry about mistouches or performance.Tested with BGMI at 60 FPS ,Just waiting for the FPS meter in upcoming updates.

Multimedia

When it comes to audio, one noticeable drawback of this phone is the lack of stereo speakers. This becomes a point of comparison with its predecessors, the iQOO Z10x and iQOO Z9, both of which featured stereo sound.

Figure 13, view larger image

While the single speaker on this device is quite loud and adequate for general use, it might not fully satisfy users who enjoy binge-watching content, as the audio output comes from only one side. That said, aside from this limitation, the device still offers great value for its price.

To sum it up,

the iQOO Z10 is truly a battery monster, featuring a massive 7300mAh battery making it the first smartphone in India to pack a silicon-carbon anode battery. This third-generation battery technology offers improved efficiency and longevity, setting a new benchmark in its segment. The device also sports a stunning quad-curve display, giving it a premium look and feel.
