This jellyfish can cheat death using a rare process called transdifferentiation:

• When injured, sick, or old, it reverts to its polyp stage
• Basically, it turns young again — like pressing life’s reset button!
• It can repeat this cycle endlessly, avoiding death from aging!

⚠️ Note: it can still be eaten or killed by disease or predators — but not by aging!

🧬 How It Works:

• Starts as an egg
• Grows into a medusa (adult jellyfish)
• If stressed or dying, it reverts into a polyp colony
• From polyp, it rebuilds into an adult again — a loop of rebirth!
• It’s like respawning in real life, over and over.

• Tiny: just 4 to 5 mm wide! 📏
• Bell-shaped, translucent body
