version of Stellar Blade,
revealing in a published trailer that the acclaimed action role-playing game will launch on June 11, 2025. Stellar Blade was developed by South Korean studio Shift Up, which has, since the launch of Stellar Blade , signed a distribution partnership with Sony.
Stellar Blade was originally released in April 2024 as a console exclusive for the PS5. However, Stellar Blade's PC port was officially confirmed in late 2024. Since then, PC gamers looking to experience the acclaimed action-adventure game have had to wait in anticipation for more details. Stellar Blade quickly gained recognition after its release for fast-paced combat, striking visuals, and the Fallout-like post-apocalyptic semi-open world setting.
According to a trailer that was presumably released prematurely on the PlayStation YouTube channel, Sony has confirmed the PC release for June 11. Since publishing the video, Sony has removed it from YouTube. However, the Stellar Blade trailer is still available on social media posts for all to see. The two-minute video doesn't just unveil the launch schedule but also highlights several improvements coming to the PC version of Stellar Blade that has been in the works since last year.
The upgrades include support for high-end hardware and modern display technologies. With improved resolution on textures, the details are even more pronounced. Stellar Blade is also going to take advantage of AI-powered upscaling and frame generation by Nvidia and AMD graphics cards. Nvidia DLSS 4 and AMD FSR 3 offer improved smoothness while ensuring sharp details, which is complemented by the PC version's unlocked frame rate.
To experience the amazingly detailed wasteland regardless of the system, the PC version supports a wide range of displays, ranging from 5:4 to 32:9 aspect ratios. Language options were also confirmed. In addition to English, there are Japanese and Chinese voiceovers. For those who want to enjoy the game with the controller Stellar Blade was originally designed for, the developers also support DualSense on PC.
If that isn't enough to convince one to purchase the PC version, the trailer also unearths details about a new boss battle and reveals new skins. Players can challenge the leader of the Sentinels, Mann, and customize Eve with 25 new costumes. The revealed changes seem to make the PC version by far the best way to experience Stellar Blade, improving upon the PS5 version. However, many of these updates are also likely to become available with the upcoming Stellar Blade DLC for the PS5 version , giving PlayStation gamers a lot to look forward to.
