NetEase Games recently launched the Galacta's Gift event in Marvel Rivals , which gives players the opportunity to earn free rewards by playing the game. Many fans have expressed excitement about the event, as one of the rewards is a Costume Coin that allows gamers to claim a skin for any of the title's original 33 heroes. The event is meant to celebrate the one-year anniversary of the hero shooter's Closed Alpha.
In a recent post on Twitter, RivalsAssembled shared new details about the upcoming playable character Armor, who is rumored to be another Vanguard in Marvel Rivals. The upcoming hero's existence in the game's files was originally revealed by X0X_LEAK. Armor appears to be focused on melee combat, and she seems to have the ability to transform her psionic armor at will. According to the leak, her psionic armor will be able to take three different forms. She will also have abilities called Unbreakable Object and Mountain-Breaking Strike.
There's no official word on when Armor could make her debut in the game, but some fans believe she could appear sooner rather than later. Leading up to Season 2: Hellfire Gala, the developers announced that they would be changing the structure of Marvel Rivals' seasons . Instead of lasting for three months, future seasons will only last for two months. However, NetEase Games is still committed to bringing two new heroes to the title every season.
