Max is a 2024 Indian Kannada-language action thriller film directed by debutant Vijay Karthikeyaa and jointly produced by Kalaippuli S. Thanu under V Creations and Sudeepa under Kichcha Creations. Alongside producing the film, Sudeepa also plays the titular role, alongside an ensemble cast of Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Sunil, Samyukta Hornad, Sukrutha Wagle and Anirudh Bhat. The music is composed by B. Ajaneesh Loknath, while cinematography and editing were handled by Shekar Chandra and S. R. Ganesh Baabu.Max was theatrically released on 25 December 2024, coinciding with Christmas in Kannada, alongside Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam languages.

My Review On Max Movie 

Vijay Kartikeyaa's MAX is a story set over a single night at a police station. The premise might remind you of Lokesh's Kaithi. While the film features a regular storyline as its foundation, it includes some interesting twists to keep the audience engaged. The film is high on action-once the story is set up in first 40 mins, action sequences follow back-to-back almost every 10 minutes which might feel repetitive. A convenient screenplay makes the film generic in its treatment; despite this, Vijay does a commendable job presenting the story in a commercial manner. The background score supports well.Kiccha Sudeep is the star throughout and carries the film on his shoulders. His "solve-it-all" attitude suits him well and adds a certain charisma. Ilavarasu provides good support. Unfortunately, none of the villains stand out- Sunil, Varalaxmi, and others fail to appear menacing. The biggest drawback of the film is the overacting by the supporting police characters at the station, coupled with their poorly written, dumb, and whimpering roles. After a point, it becomes predictable that Max will save everyone, as he is portrayed as "omnipresent." Overall, MAX is a decent film with an average screenplay but better execution. A must-watch for Sudeep fans though.
