In today's digital age, online frauds are becoming increasingly common. To help you stay safe, the State Bank of India (SBI) has issued an important advisory for all customers. Your safety is our top priority, and awareness is the first step to protection.
Many fraudsters send links, images, or files from unknown numbers, pretending to be someone trustworthy. These messages might look normal but can be very dangerous.
If you click on such links or download suspicious images, it could install malicious software on your device. This software can:
Steal your banking passwords and OTPs
Track your activity
Access your personal data
Lead to financial loss
Don't click on any links or download files from unknown or suspicious contacts.
Don't share your bank details, card numbers, PINs, or OTPs with anyone—even if they say they are from the bank.
Don't trust messages that claim you’ve won a lottery, cashback, or prize and ask you to click a link.
Always verify the sender before clicking anything.
Delete any message that looks suspicious or is from someone you don't know.
Keep your phone's software and antivirus updated.
Enable two-factor authentication wherever possible.
💡 Remember
Fraudsters rely on carelessness. A simple click can lead to major losses. Think before you click. Stay alert, stay safe.
