Including special rewards for the online game alongside the sets. The massively popular battle royale has taken great strides throughout recent years to expand its brand beyond the signature game, with everything from in-game events to new spinoffs. Fortnite has featured a wide array of crossovers with different media properties, ranging from anime like Naruto and Dragon Ball Z to movies like The Fast and The Furious. Now, Fortnite is once again returning to one of its most lucrative partnerships.
Fortnite and LEGO have a long history of working with one another, with one of the game's spinoffs even centered around the iconic building blocks. LEGO Fortnite served as one of the game's first major spinoffs, bringing a sandbox survival experience similar to Minecraft utilizing LEGO blocks. Fortnite has also teamed up with LEGO to release multiple physical sets, including buildable structures and miniatures based on some of Fortnite's most iconic skins. Epic Games is now pairing up with LEGO once again to launch three new sets.
Fortnite officially launched its newest LEGO sets on June 1, featuring multiple recognizable skins and locations from the game. The "Peely & Sparkplug's Camp" set features a small build for a wolf and llama, alongside mini figures of the titular Peely and Sparkplug. The "Durrr Burger Restaurant" set features a re-creation of the in-game restaurant, including multiple props and three different minis. Fans can also pick up the "Klombo" set to re-create the towering LEGO Fortnite dinosaur in their real-world LEGO builds. Each Fortnite set also comes with a special QR code , granting an exclusive skin in the battle royale.
Fortnite's newest LEGO sets join a growing roster of miniature figures based on the beloved battle royale. Previous sets have included plenty of iconic builds based on Fortnite, allowing fans the chance to build everything from the Battle Bus to the Durrr Burger mascot itself. LEGO has also featured scale builds of some of the game's more memorable skins, launching statues based on Peely Bone and the Supply Llama. Fortnite's newest LEGO sets range in price, with Peely and Sparkplug's Camp selling for as low as $22.99 and Klombo costing $109.99 for fans.
LEGO has continued to branch out its buildable sets with more unique concepts for sets, even teaming up with an iconic apparel brand. Nike revealed the new Air Max Dn shoes as a landmark collaboration between the toy and apparel brands, featuring a LEGO-inspired design on the shoes. LEGO also confirmed earlier this year that the iconic toy brand will be teaming up with Pokemon to launch the first Pokemon-themed LEGO sets. LEGO's new Fortnite sets should be a nice pick-up for fans of the battle royale.
