Highly anticipated Grand Theft Auto 6. While the rumor has yet to be confirmed by the game's developer, fellow rapper Jermaine Dupri recently revealed the news during a podcast, accidentally letting slip that Drake may seemingly be able to upload brand-new, unreleased tracks straight to Grand Theft Auto 6 before they are heard anywhere else.
This isn't the first time that rumors have circulated regarding some pretty big musicians being in the next Grand Theft Auto game. Earlier this year, a reliable leaker and industry insider claimed that DJ Khaled will feature in Grand Theft Auto 6 with his very own radio station. While both of these reports remain unverified, it was claimed that more real-life artists could host their own radio stations in Grand Theft Auto 6, but no other details on who these artists may be were shared. Now, however, it looks like fellow rapper Jermaine Dupri has let slip that Drake will be joining DJ Khaled with his very own radio station.
Grand Theft Auto 6 leaks continue to flow, as new information surrounding the game's radio stations has now emerged. At approximately 6 minutes and 40 seconds into a June 12 interview with New Rory & Mal, American rapper and record producer Jermaine Dupri revealed that Drake was going to be in Grand Theft Auto. Although the rapper didn't specifically say Grand Theft Auto 6, it is assumed he is referencing the next entry in the series. "They asked me to do Grand Theft Auto," Dupri revealed. "Drake got his own radio station in Grand Theft Auto." The artist then said that Rockstar Games will allow artists such as Drake to upload new, unreleased music directly to Grand Theft Auto 6 before it is heard anywhere else.
Rockstar Games is unlikely to address this claim before the game's release, which means fans will likely have to wait until May 26, 2026, to find out if this rumor is true. It's also not the only claim to have been made about the highly anticipated title this week, as a credible leaker recently revealed tons of new gameplay details about Grand Theft Auto 6 . The insider claims that the game will consist of five chapters for players to complete, and will also feature more than seven hundred accessible stores, shopping malls, a limited weapon wheel similar to Red Dead Redemption 2, and more. There also appears to have been plenty of cut content during the development process, as the ability to go prone, which was first seen in leaked footage from 2022, has seemingly been removed from the game.
Again, it's important to take all of these details with a huge grain of salt, as features and details can always be adjusted before the game's full release. Sadly, there's still just under a year left to go until fans get their hands on the game to see if all of these rumors are true. Shortly before Rockstar shocked the world with a second trailer, it announced that Grand Theft Auto 6 had been delayed from its Fall 2025 release window. The title will now launch for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S on May 26, 2026.
