The first edition of Esports World Cup (EWC) in Riyadh from July 3 to August 25, 2024 culminated in a historic victory for Team Falcon.

Emerging as the organization with the highest Club Championship points, they secured an impressive 5,665 points, nearly double the runner-up Team Liquid’s 2,545. 

Established across 22 titles in one of the largest esports events ever—spanning 23 tournaments with a cumulative prize pool exceeding $62 million—Team Falcon stood out by winning two major events outright: Call of Duty: Warzone and Free Fire, each contributing 1,000 points.

They continued their strong performance with multiple runner-up (600 points each) and semifinal finishes (350 points), laying the foundation for their overall dominance .

In Call of Duty: Warzone, the trio of Biffle, Shifty, and Soka secured the tournament title, capturing not only 1,000 Club Points but also a $200,000 top prize. Notably, Shifty earned MVP honors and an additional $50,000 for his standout play.

Their cross-game excellence was evident: a 2nd-place finish in Apex, free fire victory, strong showings in Tekken 8, Rocket League, and high placements in Overwatch 2, Dota 2, and FC24. This breadth of consistency across genres underpinned their overwhelming success.

This victory awarded Team Falcon the top Club Championship prize of USD 7 Millions. solidifying their supremacy in global esports .

By clinching first place across diverse game categories and accumulating unmatched points, Team Falcon earned not just monetary reward, but historical prestige as the debut EWC Club Champions—setting a towering benchmark as they captured both hardware and hearts in Saudi Arabia.
