Hello iQOO Fam!
So you know how some people gather sneakers? Well, the deity collects equipment. And Google handed over to him just a bright new, called Gemini CLI - basically the AI coding accessory that you don't know that your terminal was craving. It is open-source, it is shocking, and yes, it talks back (sorta).
Think of it in the way that overlapping friend who not only helps with your homework, but also organizes your backpack by humming Beethoven. Gemini Cli lives in your terminal - so no app is cursed on hoping, tab switching, or memory overload. It is integrated with sharp, Gemini code assistance, and even a generous free tier (60 requests one minute, 1,000 daily). Honestly, it should be enough until you are building the next GTA with it.
Need to debug some spaghetti code? Mithun got you to call AI-Janit images or do you want to run a command with external data from Google Search? Yes, that too. Oh, and it supports things like MCP of anthropic, so you are originally calling AI Voltron.
The cherry on top? It's Apache 2.0 licensed. That means whether you’re a bored CS student or a corporate dev at a desk shaped like a beanbag, you can use it freely—academically or commercially.
One catch: power features are limited unless you've got a subscription or hook it up to Google AI Studio. But let's be real—at least it's not asking you to sell a kidney. GitHub's already hosting it. Go get nerdy. Or just open terminal and say hi. What are your thoughts share in the comment section. See you in the next one.
