Google is rolling out a new feature that lets Android users edit RCS messages sent to iPhone users. The update allows message editing in both individual and group chats, within a 15-minute window.

To edit a message on Android:

1. Long-press the sent message.

2. Tap the pencil icon.

3. Edit and resend.

On iPhones, edited messages appear with an asterisk (\*) before the text. However, iPhone users can’t yet edit RCS messages themselves—Apple will need to update its Messages app to support it.

The feature is currently in beta, so it may take time to reach all devices. Apple previously confirmed support for RCS Universal Profile 3.0, paving the way for future enhancements.
