Google has officially launched Veo 3, its latest AI video generation tool, in India. As part of a global rollout, Veo 3 is now available through the Google AI Pro subscription on the Gemini app. First unveiled at Google I/O, the tool quickly captured global attention for its ability to generate short, realistic and visually engaging videos using artificial intelligence.

These videos can include characters with AI-generated speech, as well as background music and sound effects to enhance the scenes.To ensure safe and responsible use, Google has put several safety steps in place. The company uses red teaming and strong evaluation processes to identify and prevent misuse. Strict rules are followed to stop the creation of unsafe or harmful content. Each video generated from user photos contains a visible watermark and an invisible SynthID digital watermark, ensuring transparency about AI involvement.

The Google AI Pro subscription, which provides access to Veo 3, is priced at Rs 1,950 per month in India. Google has also committed to improving the tool over time, encouraging users to provide feedback through thumbs up/down ratings on generated videos.
