I'll be honest — when I first unboxed it, it didn't feel like a "usual" Z series device. The Z line has always been the practical, value-first choice, but this one carries itself differently. Let's unbox it and see why.

Nothing unusual here, but it's nice to see the charger still in the box — and the included clear case means you're not scrambling for protection on day one.

Design and In-hand Feel

First impression the moment you switch it on: the 6.83" 1.5K (2800×1260) 3D curved AMOLED display. Not overly punchy, not dull—just natural, accurate color straight out of the box.

I haven't held a curved-screen device in a while, and honestly, curved displays aren't usually my thing. But at just 199g and 7.99mm thin, the Z11 feels genuinely light in hand — button placement is spot on too, with the power button and volume rockers sitting exactly where your fingers naturally rest.

On colours — I've got Celestial Blue, and it's a case where photos don't do it justice.

Aurora Green (inspired by the northern lights, with a hint of blue when light hits it) looks more striking on social media, but in hand, Celestial Blue feels far more premium. I've used both — trust me on this one.

Everyday operations — reads/writes, camera capture, app launches — all feel snappy. 4K YouTube playback is smooth with no stutters, and the stereo speakers genuinely surprised me — I compared them directly against my iQOO 15, and the Z11 holds its own against a flagship. Didn't expect that at this price point.

Post-processing is genuinely good — thanks to the new Dimensity SoC and iQOO's image algorithm working together. Images are sharp, colours stay true-to-life without oversaturation — something I noticed clearly on a photo walk in Chennai .

Not all sunshine though — HDR performance felt a touch off in a few shots. I'm flagging it to the team and will dig deeper as I test more.

iQOO Z11 AI Creation Features

The Z11 comes with the latest Origin OS 6, and mainly targeting students, it promises unlimited AI credits on the Origin OS 6 AI Creation suite.

This isn't a one-app gimmick — it spans both Notes and DocMaster:

• Summarize long articles into key points
• Extract to-dos from messy notes automatically
• Polish, rewrite, translate text on the fly
• The same toolkit follows you into Word docs via DocMaster

Final Thoughts

More testing to come, but so far, the iQOO Z11 feels like a sensible launch in recent times. Some might complain about the price, but I feel iQOO has justified it — the latest SoC, AI features with unlimited credits, and features borrowed straight from their premium devices: better speakers, display, and overall software experience.
