Hi iQOO Fam!
It has now been over 70 days since I started using the iQOO Z11x 5G, and this is probably the right time to talk about what the phone really feels like after the launch hype is gone.
I have already covered this phone in different ways -- from the unboxing and first impressions, to the performance preview, OriginOS features, and more.
But long-term use is different. This is where small things start showing up. Some things become better than expected. Some things quietly prove their value every single day. And some features, which felt a little ordinary on day one, slowly become part of your routine.
Let me be upfront — the iQOO Z11x is not a flagship. It does not try to behave like one either. But for someone looking at this price range, especially with card offers and discounts bringing it close to ₹20K, it is one of the most reliable midrange phones I have used in a while.
The biggest reason it still feels quick after 70+ days is the hardware mix. The Dimensity 7400 Turbo, built on a 4nm process, is efficient enough to handle daily use without feeling stressed. Along with UFS 3.1 storage, app launches stay fast, switching between apps remains smooth, and the phone does not feel old even after weeks of heavy use.
In simple words, this is not a phone that feels slow after the honeymoon phase. Whether it is WhatsApp, Instagram, camera, Chrome, or light editing, the Z11x still opens things quickly and keeps up without drama.
For gamers, the most important question is not “can it run games?” but “can it keep doing it after weeks of use?”
And that is where the Z11x continues to impress. The Dimensity 7400 Turbo is still good enough for BGMI at 60fps, and in the right settings it can go even higher depending on the game mode and update support. More importantly, the phone does not feel like it falls apart during longer sessions. Frame drops are under control, and the performance remains stable enough for regular gaming.
If you are a BGMI player, this is still a very dependable phone for ranked matches, squad play, and long sessions. It is not trying to be a performance monster, but for the price, it does the job very well. The Bypass Charging feature also helps a lot because gaming while charging does not heat things up as badly as some other phones in this range.
So yes, for students, casual gamers, and even regular BGMI players, the Z11x still makes sense after this long.
Battery life is one of the strongest reasons this phone ages well.
The 7,200mAh battery is still the main USP here, and it is the kind of battery that changes how you use your phone day to day. In moderate use, it can still stretch close to 2 days, which is something you do not appreciate fully on day one. You only really value it when you stop carrying a charger everywhere.
What makes it even better is that the battery does not just last long — it stays dependable. Office use, social media, camera, some gaming, music, and navigation all day still do not make the phone feel battery-anxious. For students, office users, delivery partners, and people who stay outdoors for long hours, this kind of endurance is a real advantage.
This is exactly why the Z11x still feels relevant after 70 days. It does not need constant charging, and that makes the whole daily experience calmer.
This is one of the most pleasant surprises for me. The camera was already decent in the beginning, but after updates, it has improved a bit more.
It now retains more details in shots, especially in textures, background elements, and portraits. That matters because a lot of phones in this range start looking over-processed after a while, but the Z11x has slowly become more reliable.
For normal daylight shots, the 50MP Sony IMX852 sensor gives you enough detail for social media, office use, and casual photography. It is not a flagship camera, and I would not call it a creator-first camera, but for everyday users it has become better than what I expected initially.
That is the kind of improvement people should know about before buying — not just “it takes good pictures,” but that it has actually improved with time.
Another thing that got better over time is the speaker output.
At max volume, the speakers now sound clearer and more detailed, with less distortion than before. This matters more than it sounds. A lot of phones can get loud, but once you push them to full volume, they start sounding harsh or thin. The Z11x has become cleaner in that respect, especially for YouTube, reels, music, and casual video watching. Take a look at it yourself...
If you often keep your phone on loudspeaker during calls or use the phone for background music, you will notice this improvement. It is not a headline feature, but it adds to the feeling that the phone is aging well.
This is where the Dynamic Ring Light deserves a mention.
At first, I thought it would be one of those features you show once and forget. But after using the phone properly, it has become genuinely useful in my routine.
This is exactly the kind of feature that seems small at first, but later becomes something you actually use every day.
One of the reasons the Z11x works well long-term is the software experience.
OriginOS 6 still feels smooth, stable, and easy to live with.
It is not trying too hard to look flashy. It just gets the basics right. Animations are clean, app switching is smooth, and the UI does not feel heavy in daily use.
The AI and productivity tools also help the phone feel more useful over time. Once you start using features like note summaries, smart captions, or quick search tools, they stop feeling like gimmicks and start feeling like part of the phone's identity. You can check out my thread titled "OriginOS features on iQOO Z11x you should know ," for in-depth exploration of software features of the Z11x.
This is important because software is what usually decides whether a midrange phone feels fresh after 2 months or feels tired. In the case of the Z11x, it still feels fresh enough.
If you are shopping in this price range, the Z11x still makes a lot of sense for:
The best part is that it is not just good on paper. After 70 days, it still feels dependable in the real world, which is exactly what a midrange phone should do.
The iQOO Z11x is one of those phones that may not grab attention instantly, but steadily proves its worth through everyday use over time. The combination of Dimensity 7400 Turbo, UFS 3.1 storage, 7,200mAh battery, and OriginOS 6 is what helps it stay fast, stable, and useful even after long-term use.
What nobody tells you initially is this: the Z11x does not just look good in the first week. It keeps earning its place in your pocket, day after day.
